Happy #monsteramonday! I’ve always been of the s Happy #monsteramonday! I’ve always been of the school of thought that plant care should be easy. I’ve never wanted my love for plants to stretch me.

Initially when I thought about adding plants to my bathroom it was more out of convenience vs. aesthetics. I had just bought a #calatheaorbifolia and I knew she needed bright indirect light and high humidity and I didn’t want to get a humidifier. So my bathroom would be the perfect place. Over time I’ve placed all my prayer plants and Alocasias in the bathroom and it’s completely changed how it looks and feels.

I find myself opting to soak in the bath vs. jumping in for a quick shower because my bathroom feels like an oasis.

It took me a while to fall in love with hanging pl It took me a while to fall in love with hanging plants, I think I just couldn’t figure out the placement and whether they would fit into my space, but thank goodness I did.

They add variation and pull the room together by allowing my indoor jungle to extend to the walls and the ceiling.

I’ve enjoyed having my string plants, I often forget they exist and allow them to do their own thing and when I notice the “beads” or “bananas” shrinking I just give them a through watering and allow them to drain well.

String plants are amazing, they come in different shapes and it seems like they can just grow on forever. I love mine, but I know that they can be tricky for some people. So hoping this post will help you out.

🌿Do you have any of the string plants? How is it doing? Are you thinking of getting one? 🌿
Happy Wednesday! I decided a week ago that I would Happy Wednesday! I decided a week ago that I would not be getting any more plants for my living room, but I knew I needed the final piece to break the green. So when @living.content.shop got in touch with me about gifting me with a Macrame Wall Hanging. I knew it would be the perfect piece. We initially were going to go with a neutral Colour, but so glad we went with this maroon colour, it picks up the bits of red from the plants around it and helps them shine.

Let’s see how long I can last without getting a new plant. 😅
For the past year, I’ve contemplated if I should For the past year, I’ve contemplated if I should finally re-do my bedroom or not.

The rest of my home looks like a jungle and my room looks like this lost, lonely place, I call it the dungeon 😅

Funny thing is, I know exactly what I want it to look like and where I would get most of the furniture pieces and which plants I want in that room.

I have insomnia, so I would need plants that are both air purifying and are known to help you sleep better. As I was putting my mood board for my room together, I thought it might be helpful to share my bedroom plant list with you.

I’ve finally decided that I’m going to re-do my room, because mindfulness and rest at the top of my list this year.
